My part of an art trade with
Okay, lotsa notes for this one: this book was part of an art trade with my sweet Ryuuko. <3 She LOVED the amazing illustrations
made of a poem featured in Alice in Wonderland (and they really are dynamic and beautifully done), and asked me to make her a book of it. I got permission from the very kind artist and set to work. As usual, nothing I ever make Ryuuko is easy. She's WAY too picky and always makes me stretch my boundries at least a little bit. Anyway, this is the end result and I'm very happy with it. The cover gears have lots of glitter (pika pika as Ryu calls it) and there are green glitter accents on the creatures on the covers too. The fabric I used (note to self: NEVER use plaid patterns on books again! >.<) is the same fabric that Ryu is using to make a jabberwocky costume for an Alice in Wonderland tea party that she's going to. I think that's about it, I'd love feedback! Thanks!
