My masquerade party is in August, so I'm kinda running out of time to finish the 7 masks I need to do (with this one done, I have 4, almost 5 done). I was dreading this one because I had no idea how I was gonna pull it off, and could find no references on the web. My mom, little, old, grey haired sweetie that she is, love skulls. I mean LOVES skulls. Always has. She has a 2" rhinestone encrusted skull that she wears as a necklace all the time. Those badass skull hoodies? She gets them. And wears them. All the time. lol <3 Anyway, of course, she wanted a skull mask. I used a full face mask form from Michael's, and pulled up some pictures of skulls and freehand drew this. The only things I used for it was the form, pencil, erasers (liberally), a blender, and black paint. Oh and polyurethane to seal it. I'm very happy with it, and it got the seal of approval from mom today. Can't wait to see it on her.
