So, as I've said, I can't draw or paint to save my life (unless it's nails, I can paint nails all day long), so whenever I find a spectacular artist that takes commissions, an idea will usually pop in my head and I NEED them to do it.  Here's a list, that I'll keep updated, of the people and art I've commissioned:

1. Ice Griffon
- Artist: Ryuuko-chan (ryuuko-chan.deviantart.com/)
- Location: US
- Medium: Watercolor & Colored Pencils
- Details: I'm not really sure if this counts, as I didn't pay Ryu (since she's one of my dearest friends <3), but I was very specific in what I wanted and she gave it to me as a birthday present.  What I commissioned was my Dungeons & Dragons character's griffon, an ice griffon, whom I named Ceruleus Nix (Blue Snow).  When Ryuu said she'd make it, I was expecting a normal size paper and colored pencil drawing.  What I GOT, however, was a huge, GORGEOUS, watercolor and pencil painting of Nix, which was SO much better than I'd even dared hope for.  I really love it and it's on my wall right above my computer.  <3

2. Hana Kimi
- Artist: Yuumei (yuumei.deviantart.com/)
- Location: US
- Medium: Digital
- Details: If you have a sec, check out Yuumei's art, it's gorgeous!  I usually love fantasy stuff, but I really fell in love with Yuumei's people.  They're just so captivating.  Anyway, the second I found that she accepted commissions, I signed up.  She made me a waist-up of the two main characters, Sano & Mizuki, from my favorite manga, Hana Kimi.  It came out so beautifully!

3. Koi bag
- Artist: Socialdbum (socialdbum.deviantart.com/)
- Location: US
- Medium: Paint & Colored Pencils
- Details: I tripped across this bag one day (fav.me/d2c5vn2), and instantly wanted one.  The artist said she might sell one, so I contacted her and she was wonderfully helpful.  She did such a fantastic job.  She really seemed to just pick up on exactly what I wanted and I really loved it! <3  In fact, it came out so well that I never could bring myself to take it anywhere because I was so worried about hurting it.  So I ended up cutting it and framing it.  :D  It's the first thing you see when you enter my room now (picture: i219.photobucket.com/albums/cc…).

4. Water Elemental
- Artist: BoryChan (borychan.deviantart.com/)
- Location: France
- Medium: Watercolor
- Details: I didn't really have the concious thought that I was looking for someone to paint my elemental, Mizuki, but when I saw Bory's painting, Toxicity, (www.deviantart.com/deviation/1…) I knew that she would be the perfect person to do it.  Unfortunately, she wasn't accepting commissions, but she noted me when they opened up and I immediately signed up.  I gave her a couple of options as to how she could do Mizu, and she chose to do her in her elemental form.

5. Bi (Rain)
- Artist: Aramismarron (aramismarron.deviantart.com/)
- Location: Phillipines
- Medium: Watercolor
- Details: I really thought I'd never be able to commission Aramismarron because his work is SO detailed and well done, I thought he must charge a fortune for it (and it would be worth it!).  But when I saw he had a commission slot open, I couldn't stop myself from at least finding out how much and to my (thrilled) astonishment, he's actually not very expensive at all!  So inexpensive, in fact, that I commissioned him to do a painting.  He painted the oh so gorgeous Bi Rain (the main guy from Ninja Assassin) for me, and it is too stunning to describe, go look at it!
- Status: Finished, January '11 (www.deviantart.com/deviation/1…)

6. Wu Chun drawing
- Artist: Aramismarron (aramismarron.deviantart.com/)
- Location: Phillipines
- Medium: Pencil
- Details: I was so excited about Aramismarron doing my Rain painting, that I couldn't wait to commission him to do a drawing too!  lol  Originally I was just thinking that he could do another Rain, but he was so sweet and eventually I decided on Wu Chun from the Taiwanese band, Fahrenheit.  :)  It looks SO close to the original picture, I can't stop looking at it!
- Status: Finished, May '11 (www.deviantart.com/deviation/2…)

7. Vanness Wu drawing
- Artist: Aramismarron (aramismarron.deviantart.com/)
- Location: Phillipines
- Medium: Pencil
- Details: I am so so so happy with everything Aramismarron has done for me, and to top it off, since we've become friends over the last few months, he drew me a picture of Taiwanese pop star Vanness Wu (whom I adore) for my birthday!  <3  I'm so grateful!
- Status: Finished, May '11 (www.deviantart.com/deviation/2…)

8. Black Stallion Digital Painting
- Artist: Aomori (aomori.deviantart.com/)
- Location: Poland
- Medium: Digital
- Details: From when I read the first book in middle school, I was absolutely in love with Walter Farley's series, The Black Stallion.  The WHOLE series.  I actually had to ask for a second set for Christmas one year because my original set was so dilapitated from being read so much.  So when I saw Aomori's stunning horse paintings, I knew I needed her to paint The Black for me.  I even had a horse for a model.  :)
- Status: Finished, October '11 (Aomori.deviantart.com/art/Dese…)

9. OC digital painting
- Artist: Aomori (aomori.deviantart.com/)
- Location: Poland
- Medium: Digital
- Details: Aomori only opens up her commissions in the summer (or at least, that's what she did this year), so as soon as she did I signed up to have her do The Black and my OC horse, Malachai.  I had a great time working with her and loved seeing Malachai in the flesh (so to speak).
- Status: Finished, October '11 (Aomori.deviantart.com/art/Mala…)

10. Ferret chibi
- Artist: Ryuuko-chan (ryuuko-chan.deviantart.com/)
- Location: US
- Medium: Pencils probably
- Details: I recently had to put down my oldest ferret and, by far, favorite of my pets, KiKi (www.deviantart.com/deviation/1…).  I used to say that it's a hole in the heart when someone dies, but with her, it's more like my heart swelled up, and I just love her more and miss her.  Ryuuko is one of my closest friends, and a while back she had sketched a chibi for me, of me with my 4 ferrets, but I ended up stealing the sketch because she was probably not going to finish it (www.deviantart.com/deviation/1…).  Since the loss of KiKi though, the picture (which I always loved anyway) became infinately more important to me, and I commissioned Ryu to finish the sketch for me, as the part I've always loved the most is how KiKi is right on my shoulder, as she always was.
- Status: Finished, September '11 (elvaniel.deviantart.com/art/Fe…)

11. OC Reference Sheet
- Artist: Shekla (shekla.deviantart.com/)
- Location: Poland
- Medium: Digital
- Details: I found Shekla's horses to be beautiful and I especially loved her reference sheets, so when she let me know that she was looking for some commissioners, I immediately signed up.  She did my OC, Malachai, and I think did him justice.  Take a look!
- Status: Finished, August '12 (shekla.deviantart.com/art/Mala…)
